Hi, I'm Emma, the founder of TIDY Neurodiversity and The Kid Connection.

My journey as a parent of neurodiverse children has been a transformative and challenging adventure. Despite having a background in supporting neurodiverse students, nothing could have prepared me for the unique trials and obstacles that come with raising children who see and experience the world differently. Until I realised I had

the best understanding available - My Lived Experience!

Through countless moments of growth, therapy, counselling, and specialized parenting programs, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of embracing neurodiversity. But even with all this knowledge, I still found myself at a loss when confronted with "best advice" that just didn't fit my family's needs. There is nothing like having been there and done that to give you hindsight right?

Determined to make a change, I founded TIDY ND (formerly Navigate Neurodiversity) and The Kid Connection, an online place dedicated to supporting parents of multiple neurodiverse children, with a mission is to foster a society that values and includes all individuals, regardless of their abilities or differences.

I believe in celebrating the individuality of each family, empowering parents and giving the children the supports they need to navigate their unique journeys and prevent exhaustion.
